AWARDED PROJECTS

THE AWARD WINNERS

This 9th Awards’ edition once again included two categories: Completed Projects and Forward-looking Projects; Professionals and Students. In the latter section, which deals with the design and conception of a ‘concept store’, the student Ángela Acevedo del Álamo, from the Escuela Vinsac was the one who picked up the prestigious award. She proposed “The wave”, a culture-oriented lively space where the KRION® Solid Surface mineral compact was highlighted. On the other hand, and with regard to the Forward-looking Projects in the professional category, the awarded winner was Héctor Romero García, from the Estudio Volteo, who presented a future-oriented concept store based on the world of robotics.

As far as the Completed Projects section is concerned, Jaime Sanahuja, Juan Trilles; Erik Herrera, Javier Poyatos and Miguel Bartolomé, from the renowned Sanahuja & Partners Architecture studio, were those who won the prestigious award because of their remodelling work of the Paseo Vista Alegre in Alcossebre, Castellón. The project entails both the tourist office remodelling and the pedestrianisation of the promenade, making use of both the quality and high resistance of the through-body porcelain tile of Urbatek.
